Kennan Hedrick is a Research Assistant at the Fund for Peace. Since joining the Fund for Peace in 2012, he has worked on the Transnational Threats Program focusing on multilateral cooperation on international security issues.
Kennan graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Peace, War, & Defense. He spent four years as an active duty Army officer in Germany and Afghanistan, where he served as an artillery platoon leader, executive officer, and intelligence officer. Kennan is currently attending the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University, where he is pursuing a Masters of Arts in International Affairs with concentrations in International Security Studies and Conflict Resolution. |
