David A. Poplack is a Research Associate in the Foreign
Policy program at the Fund for Peace. He is working on the
Threat Convergence initiative seeking to understand the
relationship between the threat of nuclear proliferation,
transnational terrorism, and the enabling environments provided
in weak and failing states. Before joining the Fund in 2006,
David worked with the Afghan Independent Human Rights Commission
and WSP International in Afghanistan. David has facilitated
inter-ethnic dialogue with Seeds of Peace and has NGO experience
in South Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. David
attended the School for International Training (SIT), where
he received his MA in International Conflict and Development
in 2005 and has also studied at the Hebrew University of
Jerusalem, and the University of Oregon, where he received
his BA in International Studies and Philosophy.
