With degrees in philosophy, theology, music and
psychology/counseling, Isaac comes from a very broad
educational background. A Benedictine monk and priest
for 15 years, he served as Procurator in Papal Curia for
the International Benedictine Confederation, as well as
archivist and executive secretary of that organization.
He worked for 10 years in the Under Secretariat for
International Affairs, U.S. Department of Treasury,
until he came to the Fund for Peace in 2001. His responsibilities
at the Fund include public education and outreach,
publications, events and the Fund's intern program.
A past treasurer of the DC chapter of the American Guild
of Organists, he is music director at St. Matthew's United
Methodist Church, Bowie, MD, where he also works with
community theater and other outreach programs.
