NATO Partnership for Peace Print E-mail
The Fund for Peace is proud of its past and ongoing work with NATO, particularly with the NATO Partnership for Peace (NATO PfP).  Currently, we are working with NATO’s Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) and PfP program to bring together leading scholars and governmental representatives from 46 countries in Europe, the former Soviet Union and the United States and Canada to discuss opportunities for collaboration in meeting the challenges posed by threat convergence. Additionally, FfP methodologies and analyses were used by NATO in multinational exercises in the past.  Our first project with the NATO PfP involved helping to develop a communications strategy for the demilitarization of small arms,  light weapons, and ammunitions, which led to the development of the TRUST project.
